Terms and Conditions, Cancellation and Tour Policy

A deposit of 50% is payable to secure a booking and refundable up to 14 days prior to departure.

  • A cancellation fee of 50% of tour price is payable if a cancellation is made less that 14 days prior to the tours departure.       A 100% payment is required 7 days prior to tour departure by credit card details. Secure payment site is available on treadlightly.com.au

  • A cancellation fee of 100% is payable if cancellation is made within 7 days of walk departure.

  • Alterations to tour destinations or times by clients may incur an additional fee or possibly full payment charged at the discretion of management.

  • Travel insurance is an essential part of travelling and recommended for your own safety and protection.       

  • Some Corporate Tours have additional cancellation conditions that may apply.

Don't forget cold/wet weather gear. In the event of unsuitable conditions and the walk is cancelled by Guide or Authorities an alternative walk may be arranged or possible refund established eg. track closure, fire, flood or rock slide, a closure by Authorities etc...

No refund is made to any persons unable to make tour departure times. We will only wait for a short time after scheduled departure for possible late arrivals unless prior contact is made. Making your departure time is a client responsibility.

We have mobile phone access in most areas, but this is not guaranteed, ( my Mobile#0414 976 752). All unforeseen events that hinder or alter tours, will be accessed on the day. 

Tread Lightly Eco Tours nor its guides will be held responsible for any inconvenience to clients in any way, shape or form, or reimbursement of lost or damaged property.

The operator and its staff reserve the right to refuse anyone, considered by the guide to be inadequately clothed or insufficiently physically fit to undertake the tour or proceed at any stage safely.  This by no means is any form of degradation of the persons character or a form of discrimination of any sort. Safety is our paramount concern.

All medical information and medication must be disclosed to the company and guide prior to departure. This is totally the responsibility of the client and all medication is to be supplied, administered and carried by individuals. 

All Tread Lightly Eco Tours are smoke free, alcohol and drug free tours. Please do NOT drink alcohol before any walk! Behaviour of all clients must be of the highest nature and respect shown to other guests and environment during any tour.

By making a booking or participating in any Tread Lightly Eco Tour, you accept to all of the conditions of the tour policy.
